Flanders Nature Center Benefit

The art works on exhibition through October 17 in the Radio Room represent selections from the annual auction to benefit the Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust in Woodbury. This year's Flanders dinner and auction will be at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, at the Southbury Hilton.

Guests attending the benefit will compete in silent and live auction bidding for a wide array of items, ranging from artistic works to landscaping services, catered dining, sports equipment and travel packages.
Among the most popular features of the annual event is the auction of paintings, mixed-media works, ceramics, sculptures, carvings and other original works by members of the area's richly talented artistic community. All works have been donated by the local artists to benefit the center.

Once again this year, the Good News Cafe and Gallery is pleased to present diverse selections of the works that will be offered at the October 22 benefit. Good News patrons are invited to view the works on exhibition in the Radio Room, and may submit sealed bids on cards available on the vintage buffet located at the entrance to the Radio Room. Sealed bids will be heard by the auctioneer, and if the bid is the highest submitted at the event, your bid will be accepted.

For more information on the event and ticket reservations, please call Flanders Nature Center at (203) 263-3711.
